Made to Measure Curtains - Zoe Glencross

We have recently installed made to measure Curtains in these three really lovely fabrics; Zoe Glencross Fallen Leaf Atlantic, Clarke & Clarke Tierra Denim and Sanderson Orchard Tree Weaves.

Fallen Leaf Atlantic, photo above, is one of our Zoe Glencross favourites and this large door Curtain was fully interlined with a double pinch pleat heading and fitted to an extremely smart Bradley Collection Gliderpole in Platinum Satin finish. We made it as a single curtain stacking to the left-hand side rather than a traditional pair as there was limited space for a curtain stack on the right-hand side, plus the door is opened on the right for access to the patio, so a single curtain is a useful solution in a situation like this. It would be too wide a span for a curtain pole without a centre bracket, so the Gliderpole is a perfect option as the brackets hold the pole from above and the runners can draw all the way across, it effectively works like a track within a lovely pole with numerous colour options to choose from.

The Clarke & Clarke Tierra Denim Curtains were also made with a double pleat heading and interlined, though this pair was blackout lined as they were for a bedroom. They were hung on a Hallis Hudson Neo curtain pole with a spun brass finish and we also fitted a Luxaflex faux wood Venetian blind behind the curtains to give our client daytime privacy. The Tierra fabric is an interesting take on a herringbone design creating a really stylish effect, which we’ve also used recently for a Roman Blind.

The Sanderson Orchard Tree Weaves fabric comes in four colourways, drapes beautifully and is extremely good value for a quality fabric. This pair was also made for a patio door, interlined with a double pleat heading and also fitted to a Hallis Hudson Neo pole. The Neo range is our most popular metal pole. There are four choices of finish, three diameters, two bracket choices and a wide range of finials.
